Green Village Project will continue for another 3 years! The Ministry of Forreign Affairs decided to keep on funding the project for the years 2011-2013. The cooperation of the Student Union of Turku University of Applied Sciences - TUO and Green living Movement will continue. Also the Student Union of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences - SAMMAKKO will join the team promoting sustainable farming in Zambia.

GREEN VILLAGE CLUB!
The Green Village Club is here again! The party starts at Bar Amarillo and the House of Dance on Friday, 15th of October at 22.00. Live music from Like Tomorrow and Acoustic Zonni. The tickets cost 4 euros in advance including an overall badge, and 5 euros from Amarillo's door without the badge. Welcome to enjoy wonderful music and the special spirit of the Green Village Club!

DEVELOPMENT WORK IN PRACTISE
Join a fun free choice course and gain 3 ECTS! The course contemplates the practical challenges and possibilities of development cooperation from the perspective of your own field of study. Why should development cooperation be done? How can you make a difference in the lives of people living in developing countries? Or, in the end, is everyone only responsible for his own wellbeing?
The course includes an introductory lecture and a presentation on a development dilemma of your own interest. You will also gain experience in grassroots development cooperation by participating in the Green Village development project of the Student Union of TUAS. Come and find out in how many ways you can act on the development field. The introductory lesson will be organized on September the 30th at 3 pm at the TUO office (Lemminkäisenkatu 30, B wing, 4th floor).
