GREEN LIVING MOVEMENT
Green Living Movement (GLM) is an environment organisation functioning in Zambia. It is based mostly on the work of active volunteers. It aims i.a. To increase awareness in environmental issues and to promote sustainable farming and sustainable using of natural resources. GLM also encourages villages and communities to participate more in decision making concerning them and to take responsibility for their own development.
The ideal behind GLM started with the chinese academic James Yen idea of the development that starts from and responds to the needs of locals.
